The Four Hour Work Week Insiders’ Guide

Reading Tim’s book was a real paradigm shift for me. It gave me a vision of a new way of life, and the confidence to think outside of the box that really helped me to build a successful home business my own way. The Four Hour Work Week was created by New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and BusinessWeek bestseller, Tim Ferriss. It is not just a phenomenally successful read; it is a lifestyle that is taking root in the hearts and minds of many creative business people throughout the globe. In an era where the average working is making less or sometimes losing their jobs altogether, while inflation is rising, it is concepts such as Ferris’s’ are just the kind that many are embracing as a new way of creating cash flow and peace of mind at the same time.

The Four Hour Work Week was created in 2009, when extremely successful and regularly sought after businessman, Tim Ferriss, wanted to introduce an overtired and over frustrated American workforce to way of making money that would revolutionize how they previously believed life could be lived and business could be experienced. The main concept of the book is to introduce readers to the idea that that they can make a six figure income, travel the world at extremely discounted rates, live overseas without spending money at all, and do it all working no more than four hours a week. It sounds insanely impossible to those whose lifestyles have been wired to accept 40 hours a week of work for a steady, but unsatisfying, paycheck. Retirement (in The Four Hour Work Week) is, also, experienced in small spurts rather than as a long deferment at the end many years of working for someone else. Work is seen as a fulfilling practice of making money wisely and owning your own business.

Since its publication and introduction into the world, The Four Hour Work Week has been explored by a myriad of media. The New York Times, the Economist, Time, Forbes, Fortune, CNN, and CBS have each consulted Ferriss and his method of making money and living the relaxed life at the same time. In his plan, he urges eager entrepreneurs to work smartly and not continuously.

The Four Hour Work Week introduces creative thinkers to various rarely and previously unexplored concepts like: Life outsourcing (delegating work to those who could do it as effectively as the business owner and, thus, freeing up their time to do other things and make more money in other more specific areas), Blue Chip Escape Artists (having great value or worth that allows them to travel and explore the world as desired or to exchange one value for another), how to eliminate 50% of your work week in 48 hours, how to train your boss to value performance over presence, how to know when to leave your job or sell your company, how to work less but more effectively rather than working for an entire life time without relief, selective ignorance, and remote control CEO’s, etc…and many more concepts.

While The Four Hour Work Week may sound as though it is presenting ideas that have raised concerns by more conventional business thinkers, its methods are based on proven business concepts, especially, by those tested by renown European economists for years. There are many successful testimonials and it is definitely a legitimate method of making money and living the luxurious lifestyle. Those interested in The Four Hour Work Week need only an open mind and the ability to believe in themselves and their dreams.
