Business Opportunity Leads

What do you do when your warm market dries up? When you get to the end of your list of family members, friends, acquaintances, and people from your past, where do you get more leads? Maybe you were able to recruit a few people from your list into your business opportunity. And if you had some good leaders in your up-line guiding you, they might have helped you to also go through the contact lists of your new recruits. This is sometimes called tap rooting. But what if that hits a dead end? The fact is that this traditional method of building an MLM business does work for some people. However, the percentage tends to be very low, and when apply this method you are really basing your success on luck.

Most network marketing companies provide training for one of two approaches once your warm market dead ends. The first is sometimes called the 3-foot rule. Prospect any stranger who is within 3-feet of you. There is much personal development that goes along with turning yourself into that kind of a monster salesman. You will get over any fear of rejection, and a lot of insecurities fast, or you will quit. But most of us do not want to spend our days in shopping malls chasing strangers, hoping that one of them will be interested in our business. The second approach is to purchase business opportunity leads. If you have ever done this you probably know that this method turns you into a telemarketer. You will also be spending money on a lot of wrong numbers, and people who hang up on you.

The modern method is to generate your own leads using the Internet. This is called professional Internet marketing, and you can do a lot of it absolutely free. Most network marketers have no clue how to market like a professional. But this is not really their fault. Virtually none of the companies out there provide this type of training, because they are trying to keep things 3rd grade duplicable. However, when duplicating a 95% failure rate or higher, it is definitely time for this Industry to re-evaluate their training, and decide if it is really working in today’s Information age.

The Network Marketing Industry ignores the fact that people typically go to college and get degrees in Marketing to learn how to build and market million dollar businesses. And successful entrepreneurs typically will spend thousands of dollars every year learning these skills at business seminars. Now you don’t need to go to that extent to learn to market like a professional. But the key ingredient here, and the solution to your marketing problems, is to learn how to create your own leads for free by using the Internet.

Here are some ways the professionals are generating thousands of free leads today entirely on the Internet: Online Social Networking, Twitter, Free Online Classifieds, Forums, Social Content Advertising, Online Video Marketing, Article Marketing, Podcasts, Social Bookmarking, News sites, and Blogging.
