Hello Kevin,
I can understand your info overload situation because I feel more than a little overwhelmed and very disgusted with my own situation. I’ve talked to you twice on the phone and both times you assured me that getting your help was my best bet. I wish I had listened to you back then but I was hell bent on following my upline’s strategies, since that’s the way it’s supposed to be, but now I’ve been overloaded with strategies and none of them have been successful for me.
I am partially to blame because I did not master one strategy before trying another. They said we do all strategies at all times so I did a whole bunch of things at once without getting anywhere. Now, I am taking a break. I am sick of it all.
I’m out of money and forced to get a job or two just to pay bills so I can’t even join your business now. However, I just wanted to let you know that you were right, as if you needed to know, and at some point in the future, I will be asking for your guidance and joining in your business. Michael, I can empathize with the situation. Keep in mind though that most entrepreneurs, such as network marketers, have experienced the same thing that you have described at one point or another. It is all part of the natural growing pains.
The problem, however, is that our society has been living under the corporate security business model for more than a hundred years now. But now it has become corporate insecurity. A hundred years ago, entrepreneurship was a normal part of everyday life. If you wanted to be a baker, you also had to become a savvy baker-shop business owner. If you learned to build houses, you had to drum up your own business, and the ambitious construction workers learned to build huge franchises that other people ran. There were no companies to work for, you were on your own, and most businesses were family run, and trained their children how to be entrepreneurs early in life.
Today we are learning these skills as adults, whereas a hundred years ago it was passed down in childhood from father to son. It is much harder to learn to be a successful business owner today, not only because we are learning the skills later in life, but also because we live within a society where being a business owner is far from the norm, and being an entrepreneur is often ridiculed as too much of a gamble.
The way I see it, unless temporarily necessary, a job is too much of a gamble. People work jobs their whole lives and are often left with very little money on which to retire. And even a very high paying job is not going to get you wealthy, unless you also gain some entrepreneur and investment knowledge and experience.
Keep your spirits up; you are not alone. Take a break, and when you are ready to start fresh I will help you out. KT
